Beam

This flashlight uses a Cree XP-L2 LED for it's main white emitter. It also has a Cree XPE-R2 LED for the red emitter and a Nichia 267A for the UV emitter. 2 special LEDs give the UC15 some unique outputs in the form of a red beam ideal for preserving night vision, as well as a UV beam for document and forensic needs. One of the selling points of UC15 keychain light is its compatibility with both the common AAA battery and its lithium-ion rechargable counterpart, the 10440. Paired with its Cree XP-L2 LED, 2 AAA batteries give you a max output of 250 lumens. While running on dual 10440s gives the UC15 an unprecedented 1000 lumens for a minute before dropping down to a more stable 200 lumens. That's an output you can only see from much bigger and higher-voltage lights, but the UC15 successfully achieved this with its compact body. You can own such a high output in this tiny keychain light. That's amazing.

If you hold the button in any mode, it will cycle through each mode. When in white mode, you may need a fast double click, then will go up in to higher white modes.
