If you want to change between white and red light modes, then press and hold the switch for 1.2 seconds. To access the red light functions you need to hold the button for two seconds while the light is on. When in white or red light modes, then click the switch to cycle through the different brightness levels. Battery
The Fenix LD15R is powered by the included 16340 Lithium-Ion battery that you can easily charged anywhere using the built-in USB charging port. This light can also be powered by one non-rechargeable CR123A battery. Checking the battery level is easy too. When the light is off, then press the tail switch one time to display the battery level. A battery indicator light located underneath the tail switch will show you the remaining battery power.
